Your Trust is Our Foundation

Welcome to PPTMaker.co.in (operated under the brand name "Student Suite"). Your data is your intellectual property. We are committed to full transparency and ensuring your personal information remains under your control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share information when you use our AI-powered presentation generator, resume builder, PDF tools, and associated services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different categories of information depending on how you interact with our Services:

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: If you choose to sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your display name, email address, and profile photo from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your password.
  • User-Generated Content: Text prompts, topic inputs, and PDF files you upload for AI processing. These are used solely to generate your requested output and are handled as described in Section 3.
  • Feedback and Communications: Messages you send through our Contact form, feedback widget, or email correspondence.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and Browser Information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type (mobile, desktop, tablet).
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, generation counts, session duration, and interaction patterns. This is collected through Google Analytics.
  • IP Address & Geolocation: Collected for security purposes, rate limiting, and approximate geographic location (country level only). We use a third-party service (ipapi.co) to dynamically adapt our website content, route users to region-specific tools (such as US-standard vs India-standard formats), and restrict certain regional content.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: As described in detail in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: Processing your AI generation requests, delivering downloadable files, and maintaining your session.
  • Authentication: Verifying your identity when you sign in and managing your account session.
  • Analytics and Improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve our Services, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Security: Detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access through rate limiting and anomaly detection.
  • Advertising: Serving relevant advertisements through Google AdSense to sustain the free operation of our Services.
  • Communication: Responding to your inquiries and feedback submissions.

3. File Processing & Data Retention

PDF files uploaded for conversion are processed in server memory (RAM) and are automatically deleted immediately after text extraction is complete. We do not store, archive, index, or use your uploaded documents for any purpose beyond generating your requested output. Your files never leave the active processing pipeline.

Text prompts and topics submitted for AI presentation generation are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. We do not retain the prompts or the generated output on our servers after delivery to your browser. Google's processing of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Video Export: When you use the video export feature to record your presentations, the screen capture and rendering processes occur entirely locally within your browser. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your video or audio data on our servers.

Account data (name, email, profile photo) is retained as long as your account exists. Generation count metadata (anonymous, non-personally-identifiable) is retained indefinitely for platform analytics.
