Your Content: You retain full ownership of all text, prompts, and files you submit to the Services. We do not claim any ownership rights over your input content.
Generated Output: The presentations (.pptx files), video exports (.webm), resumes, cover letters, and PDF outputs generated using our Services are licensed to you for free, unrestricted personal and commercial use. You may use, modify, distribute, and publish the generated output without attribution to Student Suite.
Platform IP: The Student Suite platform itself — including its design, logos, branding, source code, AI prompt engineering, and proprietary algorithms — remains our exclusive intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our platform IP beyond the right to use the Services as intended.
Our Services use artificial intelligence (specifically, Google's Gemini AI models) to generate content. While we strive for accuracy and quality, you acknowledge and agree that:
We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform relies on third-party AI models (Google Gemini), cloud hosting (Vercel), and authentication services (Firebase) that may experience temporary outages. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience resulting from service unavailability, whether due to planned maintenance, unplanned outages, or force majeure events.
We may impose usage limits or rate limiting to ensure fair access for all users and to prevent abuse of the Services.
To provide an optimal and culturally relevant experience, Student Suite uses IP-based geolocation to dynamically adapt the content, tools, and features available to you.
Our Services are provided free of charge and are supported by advertising through Google AdSense. By using the Services, you agree that we may display advertisements on our Website. We strive to ensure that advertisements are relevant, non-intrusive, and clearly distinguishable from our own content. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STUDENT SUITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, WHETHER ARISING FROM CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ₹500 (INR FIVE HUNDRED), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Student Suite, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at pptmaker@proton.me.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on our Website at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Student Suite regarding the use of the Services. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
